Get to Know Us
Libertasia started as a place of hope for a group of people who fled from oppression and disease. In Grand duchy, a neighboring land, an authoritarian grand duke ruled with strict control over everyone. Women in this country were particularly hard-hit by a disease called femonia, which caused infertility. As a result, they could no longer bear children, and many women were imprisoned out of fear that the disease would spread further.

A courageous slave woman, desperate to have children, decided to escape along with other men and women. She led a group across a mountain ridge to a new, free land where they would establish their own country. This new nation was called The Free State, symbolizing their newfound freedom.

Even part of the military from Grand duchy, tired of the grand duke's oppressive rules, joined them. In the Free State, they worked to rebuild their population. Because there were few women and they wanted to grow quickly, they decided that each woman could have multiple husbands, a practice known as liberism. They hoped this would help increase the birth rate and strengthen their community. Unfortunately, the disease femonia continued to cause problems: many women suffered miscarriages.

To protect the women, they sometimes chose to terminate pregnancies early. After years of hard work, the scientists in Libertasia finally discovered a cure for the disease, allowing women to safely bear children again.

This marked a new beginning for the Free State. Despite their freedom and wealth of natural resources, such as gas, the Free State is still a developing country. They lack the knowledge to fully utilize their resources and therefore remain dependent on aid from other countries. They must also constantly defend themselves against Grand duchy, which does not accept their success and continues to threaten them. The people of Libertasia still honor the slave woman who led them to freedom. They celebrate their history and fertility with parades and religious festivals. Their story is one of courage, determination, and building a future where freedom and justice are central.
